    1 Historic center: Historical artistic heritage, you are going to love this city. Avilés has one of the best preserved old towns in Spain.

Continuing the route towards the town hall you will reach the Plaza de España also known as “el Parche” where the beginning of the famous streets of Rivero and Galiana are located. The cobblestones of these streets and their sidewalks under arcades will take you back to medieval times.
